HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALAN ALDA!!
Without him, M*A*S*H couldn’t be M*A*S*H. He written and directed a lot of great episodes (Goodbye Farewell Amen,Comrades in Arms,…). And his acting was always perfect. Alan commuted from Los Angeles to his home in New Jersey every weekend for 11 years! Loretta Swit once saw him cry, and when she asked him what’s wrong, he said: I miss my children. But I know he really loved M*A*S*H. He will be my favourite actor forever :)
You know, we gotta do it someday. Throw away all the guns, and invite all the jokers from the north and the south in here to a cocktail party. Last man standing on his feet at the end wins the war.

I wanted to introduce to you the fictional man I’m in love with….Captain Benjamin Franklin ‘Hawkeye’ Pierce. If you watch M*A*S*H, you’ll understand why. And of course Alan Alda is my old man crush, cuz he’s currently 74.
