Did you know that he used to be a firefighter in New York City back in the mid-80’s and that on the day after 9/11 he showed up at his old firehouse and worked 12 hour shifts for a week digging through the rubble of the World Trade Center looking for missing Firefighters and that he did all this anonymously?
Did you also know that he was stabbed in the throat, head and arm when he tried to intervene in a barroom brawl at the Firebelly Lounge in Wilmington, North Carolina. The brawl also involved Vince Vaughn who was arrested for brutalizing one of Buscemi’s attackers?
